Set Up Collection Station for POS Printer
The Set Up Collection Station for Point of Sale Printer page allows authorized users to set up a point of sale printer to interface with Tyler's New World ERP software.
Three distinct printing options exist in Revenue Collections. To read more about the different scenarios and determine which one that is appropriate for your network configuration, go to Collection Station Printing Configuration.
To set up a printer, follow the steps below:
- Go to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > Revenue Collection > Collection Stations.
- Select a collection station in the list to highlight the station that needs to be set up for a point of sale printer.
- Click Setup Slip Printer to open the Set Up Collection Station for Point of Sale Printer page and read the message displayed on the page.
- Click Setup to open the File Download page.
- Click Run to run the batch file immediately or click Save to save the batch file to the disk and continue with the next step.
- On the Save As pop-up window, navigate to the directory to which the batch file will be copied and click Save.
- Go to Start > Run (on your Windows taskbar) and browse to select the batch file. Click OK to run the batch file to enable POS printing at the collection station.
